As a subsidiary of GENESIS Architectural Design, this residential design branch was established in
2004. Since its founding, we have designed projects for clients throughout the Midwest.
Much of our work consists of additions and alterations to existing homes. New construction projects
can include custom homes, lake houses, retreats and cabins.
Our primary emphasis is on what we call “Design Consultations.” Residential design consultation
has many advantages:
- First of all, it makes architecture affordable. We can make architectural “suggestions” with just
a couple of meetings and few quick sketches. - Secondly, by going through this short and painless process, we can add volumes of character
to your house while personalizing it to better reflect you. - Finally, the design consultations add value for the home builder by problem-solving the extra
needs a client might have and converting those needs into well defined design details.
We enjoy taking clients through an accelerated design process. It opens the eyes of our clients to
options that might not otherwise have been explored. It also opens their hearts toward the value of
good design.
